Record Breaking Start to WJCU Radiothon!

WJCU Radiothon 21 started off on a high note as history was made on Saturday! You pledged $2,905 during Jumpin' Joe's Basement Show, which is a new record for the first Radiothon show! This even beats records from Jumpin' Joe's Retro Radio days going all the way back to 2004.

The Basement Show and Retro Radio are once again teaming up to raise $5,500...more than 10 percent of WJCU's overall goal of $50,000. With Retro Radio bringing in $945 on Saturday, the combined total is $3,850!

We are $1,650 away from the goal and about $2,400 from the record that was set last year of $6,347! This Radiothon could be history in the making!

The Retro Radio Rotary Phone rang like a firehouse on Saturday!

The second and final radiothon show is on Saturday February 20. You can pledge online throughout the week at wjcu.org or call in during Retro Radio from 3-5pm or Jumpin' Joe's Basement Show from 5-7pm to make a pledge.

Thank you for supporting WJCU during Radiothon 21!

Jumpin' Joe will once again broadcast LIVE from WJCU on Saturday February 20 from 5-7pm (eastern). Ray King will host Retro Radio from his home from 3-5pm while Jumpin' Joe answers your phone calls.

Donating during Retro Radio and Jumpin' Joe's Basement Show shows the management of WJCU how much you dig what Ray and Jumpin' Joe do for you every week! Management pays very close attention to see which shows bring in the most radiothon dollars.

WJCU is a non-commercial community radio station based on the campus of John Carroll University on the east side of Cleveland in University Heights, Ohio
